This Privacy Policy describes how Torqvoice ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website at torqvoice.com and our cloud-hosted service at app.torqvoice.com.

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password. For paid plans, we collect billing information processed through our payment provider (Stripe).

Customer Data

Data you enter into the platform, including customer records, vehicle information, work orders, invoices, quotes, inventory, and uploaded files. This data belongs to you.

Usage and Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data through PostHog to understand how our website and service are used. This includes page views, browser type, and general interaction patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Automatically Collected Information

Our servers automatically log IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps for security and operational purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.

Your data is stored on servers located in Europe. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

You can export your data at any time through the Torqvoice application. We support exporting customer records, invoices, quotes, and other data you have entered into the platform.

7. Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the application. Upon account deletion, all Customer Data is permanently removed from our servers. This action is irreversible.

Free accounts inactive for more than 6 months may be deleted with prior email notification.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies are used by PostHog for anonymous usage tracking. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

9. Self-Hosted Installations

This Privacy Policy applies only to the cloud-hosted service at app.torqvoice.com. If you self-host Torqvoice, you are the data controller and are responsible for your own privacy practices. No data from self-hosted installations is sent to Torqvoice.

10. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Request a portable copy of your data.
